AutoVett ("we", "us") at autovett.com helps you search for, score and vet used vehicles. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: jacquesvs25@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we store your email address. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us — we use these only to create and identify your account.

Your activity. Searches you run (your description, filters and ZIP code), vehicles you save, watch alerts you set, and VINs you ask us to vet. We keep these so the features work — your history, saves and alerts — and to understand how the service is used so we can improve it.

Technical basics. Our hosting and database providers automatically log standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to operate and secure the service.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising trackers. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing.

Service providers we rely on

Supabase (accounts and database), Vercel (website hosting), MarketCheck (vehicle listing data, shown live from dealers and marketplaces), the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (public recall data), and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). Each processes information only as needed to provide the service.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and your browser may remember your ZIP code locally so you do not have to retype it. That is all.

Your choices

You can view and remove your saved vehicles and watch alerts at any time while signed in. To delete your account and associated data, email us at jacquesvs25@gmail.com and we will remove it.

Children

AutoVett is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update this page and its effective date. Continued use of AutoVett after a change means you accept the updated policy.
